Beaches of Capri

Marina Grande

The pebbly beach, with rocky terraces, is the largest beach on the Capri Island. It offers white sand with gravel in small areas, rocky headlands, turquoise sea and any facility you may need. There is also a free area near the hydrofoil ticket office, but it is usually very crowded. It can be reached by ferry, hydrofoil or shuttle bus.

Marina Piccola

On the slopes of Monte Solaro, in a beautiful cove, you can see one of the most famous seaside resorts in Capri, besides being the only harbour in the South part of the area, Marina Piccola. It is not very far from the famous Piazzetta, ten minutes by taxi or bus or walking down along the Via Krupp. Two free beach areas hug the legendary rock called Scoglio delle Sirene, but there are also some private bathing establishments with restaurants specialized in fresh fish dishes. Not to be missed a swimming in the clear water looking the famous Faraglioni Rocks.

Bagni di Tiberio

Idyllic location chosen by the Emperor Tiberius to build his villa. The bathing establishment “Bagni di Tiberio”, ideal for families with children who can take advantage of the numerous facilities offered. Particularly striking is the restaurant’s terrace, a paradisiacal postcard on the Gulf of Naples where the clear and majestic sea is the undisputed protagonist.
