Located in an ancient fishermen village, there is the volcanic sandy beach of Marina di Cassano, a few kilometers away from Sorrento. Access is possible going down on the sets of stairs built along the 100 meter high cliff. The beach offers both private bathing establishments and free beach. It also has a small port with a long dock for pleasure boats and to moor fishing boats. There are several cafes and restaurants, especially near the shore.
