Beaches of Amalfi and Atrani

Marina Grande

Not too far from Positano and Vietri sul Mare, it is one of the most popular destinations for tourists from all over the world. It has a wide beach, often crowded, but also private bathing establishments. It can be reached also by public transportation and in the summer also by sea from Sorrento, Positano, Capri and Salerno.

Castiglione

It is a small village near Ravello, ancient medieval town famous for its characteristic landscapes that offer a small sandy beach surrounded by about one hundred meters of cliff. You can reach it through a staircase of 186 steps from the road Statale Amalfitana. The town is easily reachable by public or private transportation. It has only one private bathing establishment and two free beach areas, sunny until the early afternoon.

Atrani

A rock face protects the small town of Atrani and its tiny beach of about 130 meters. A day is enough to visit the historic village and spend some time in one of the establishments on the sandy beach. Easily reachable by public and private transport through a road along the sea.

Duoglio

It is one of the most beautiful pebbly beaches on the Amalfi Coast. It is about 1 km away from Amalfi and it can be reached walking down 400 steps to clear waters. There are two establishments and one of them, the “Lido degli Artisti”, and you can also rent equipment for water sports such as diving, windsurfing and canoeing.
