The town, a hamlet of Massa Lubrense, has been a tourist destination since the first half of the nineteenth century, due to its important location. To the west, it faces Capri and to the south the Li Galli islands.
The town has many trails, some of them quite steep, with breathtaking views like, for example, the Ieranto Bay.
The Ieranto Bay is located in the marine protected area Punta Campanella and in its clear waters you can dive or organize boat trips.
The towns are also famous for their cuisine, mainly seafood dishes. There are many restaurants where you can taste delicious dishes.
