Rock of Vervece

Off the small port of Sorrento there is the rock of Vervece. An islet of rare beauty and part of the Marine Protected Area of Punta Campanella in the area "A", that enjoys maximum protection. His backdrops descend over 50 meters, populated by many marine species: Groupers, Scorpion Fish, octopus, whole herds of white bream, red sea fans, red Castagnole, Thrushes, Damsels and Serranidae. Mitigliano's Grotto

The Cave is located in the bay of Mitigliano about three miles south of the harbor of Marina della Lobra. Located in area "C" of the Marine Protected Area, allows anchors and diving.
The route requires some diving experience because the cave has three conducted with stalactites in training. This has also a varied fauna composed of small crustaceans, crabs sleepers, sciaphilys, sponges, bryozoans, sea anemones of a pink-orange and specimens of brotula.
