Discovering the seabed

Punta Campanella

The Reserve of Punta Campanella, in area "B", is characterized by the extraordinary variety of local flora and fauna. The dive starts in the bay to reach 60 meters of depth. Waters are inhabited by benthic organisms of various shapes and colors, sea squirts, sponges and gorgonians white and yellow. Going more in depth are visible splendid branches of red gorgonians and sponges as Axinella cannabina. In the period from September to October is also possible to find tuna and urchins.

Cape Montalto

In Nerano Bay is located Cape Montalto. A massive wall overlooking the sea that is part of the diving spots of the area "B". You can choose day and night dives descending from the Saracen tower and enjoy the view of large groupers and silvery schools of yellowtail, skipjack and bonitos. In the case of night diving is easy to meet the alicia mirabilis and thick groups of croakers. Gorgonies, shaded of yellow and deep red, up to a maximum depth of -48 meters. Remarkably high proportion of rockfish of considerable size, moray eels and lobsters and fish specimens of S. Peter on the sandy bottom.
You can meet spider crabs and seahorses and false black coral, the Gerardia savaglia.

Isca Cave

The cave in the depths of the homonymous islet, is characterized by a great charm entrance with a series of arches and vaults diving enriched by sea daisies. You can see formations of alabaster, - effect of bradyseism that have affected the entire Sorrento Peninsula - which create the center of a large stalactite cave adorned with large yellow flowers. The vaults are completely covered with orange corals on the walls, submerged in the cave, you can see small colonies of sponges, worms and cerianti in the nooks and small lobsters and shrimp. The cave of Isca is located in area "B".

Li Galli Archipelago

The islands of "Li Galli" in the zone "B", are composed of three islands: "Gallo Lungo", "La Rotonda" and "Castelluccia". The depths of the outer islands are characterized by rather strong currents. The cliffs are alive with large sea fans, with tones of yellow and deep red, while the ravines welcome families of bream, croakers and fish passage.
You'll enjoy crystal clear waters and seabed usually with a series of rocky cliffs alive with lobsters.

Sorrento Cape

The waters of Sorrento Cape, in area "C", home to a population made up of spectacular and colorful marine sponges, sea squirts, white and yellow sea fans, nudibranchs and bryozoans. Striking the walls of the seabed that can accommodate slabs tiles depicting the Stations of the "Via Crucis" underwater.

Puolo Bay

This sandy bottom bay, in area "C", allows you to get in depth along a wall full of caves on 20-25 meters that offer a splendid show of sponges, sea daisies, corals, nudibranchs, bryozoans, and down even more in depth, white and yellow sea fans. Among the boulders and caves do not miss the local fish and pushing to the tip also shoals of migratory fish, tuna, yellowtail and barracuda Mediterranean.

Romantic Garden

The picturesque bay, located in area "C", is characterized by gravelly and sandy seabed enriched by a beautiful aquatic plant, Posidonia oceanica. Among the boulders you can see octopus, red mullet and bottom fish and sometimes, groupers and croakers. The steps of the underwater pipeline are covered with spirographis, sea lilies, white and yellow sea fans.
